How to protect my products from counterfeiting and immitation?

Brand protection technology

Counterfeiting and piracy of tangible products are a growing threat for brand manufacturers. Holograms are widely used as security labels. But nowadays many manufacturers in emerging countries are also able to produce security labels with advanced hologram technology, rendering this technology less effective. To keep ahead of the counterfeiters and damage to the brand, new technologies will be necessary.

Forge Guard is a new alternative technology to protect your brand and products from counterfeiting. The security labels can have a customized full-color and detailed hidden image that can be accompanied by a unique serial or random number on each label. Because the labels use a wide range of colours, shades and complex resolution designs, they are virtually impossible to copy.

The hidden images appear simply by placing the proprietary viewer directly over the security label. In this way authenticity can be verified easy and quickly. It can be done anywhere by anyone; at customs, at distributors or at shops. Forge Guard is made using Fujifilm’s own synthesized chemicals, proprietary process equipment and rigorous process control.
